Cybersecurity can mean different things to different businesses but you run a significant risk if you choose to ignore it. A recent Forbes article makes the case that businesses should focus not only on cybersecurity (keeping hackers from committing a crime at your expense) but also on cyber resilience (keeping your business alive and getting back to full throttle after a cybercrime is committed).

When a hacker is successful, your team is suddenly pulled from what they do best to deal with data recovery, regulators, and upset customers. So, you should ask yourself what are we doing to prevent a hacker from causing us trouble and what are we going to do if a hacker is successful.
